The Bove Family originates in Southern Italy, specifically
around Naples. Although three quarters of my heritage is from the Naples area, our Bove branch is from the Basilicata
region. In the United States, Bove is the 5,836th most common last name at approximately 5,000 people. In the
United States, most Bove families, along with most Italians, live in New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania.
