Bove is a derivative of the Latin words"bos" or "bovis" which mean,
ox, cattle, cow or bull. Those latin words are also where the word bovine came from which is probably the closest English
word to the name. Bove is generally said to mean one who tends cows, but can also refer to great strength, patience
or docility.
